After shave is a wonderful thing. Not only because it makes you smell good but also because it soothes that razor burn that you inevitably get after shaving. Now I know there are thousands of razors out there in this world. Some of them were very futuristic and employ sophisticated shaving technology. However, the basic act of shearing hair off of your face is abrasive. It doesn’t matter how many razors you have on that razor head. That’s why after shave is so necessary. Not only does it soothes your irritated skin, but it also makes you smell wonderful. In fact, I don’t know anybody who doesn’t have a great association with after shave. We all had a grandfather or uncle whose after shave brings up reams of nostalgia. It’s kind of like dried leaves in autumn: everybody has a memory associated with it. Aftershave is just that impressive.
